Alex P. Vassallo assumed the title of President of the Nassau County Young Republicans in January of 2006.
He was previously elected the Executive Vice President of the Organization in November of 2004. Prior to that, he served as Campaign Vice President, and Financial Secretary of the organization.
A conservative at heart, Ronald Reagan has always been his role model, with his optimism and strength serving as a guiding force for him. He strongly believes in the principles of limited government, strong national defense, and good values.
Alex is a 2004 graduate of Fordham University, where he majored in Political Science. He is also a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Bellmore.
He is a life long South Merrick resident, and he currently serves as a Co-Commiteeperson for the Merrick Republican Committee.
